Wide from the knee down and wider still at the hem, this carpenter jean takes the ultra baggy cut about as far as it will go.
Front pockets are finished with wide topstitching that shows against the cloth, and the back pocket is oversized to match the scale of the leg. The inseam runs 32” across every size, so the break at the shoe stays consistent whichever waist you take. It is cut from 100% heavyweight cotton, and that weight is the reason a leg this wide holds its shape rather than draping out of it.
This is a Y2K silhouette and it wants to be styled like one: keep the top half close and let the trousers carry the volume. A fitted tee or a tucked shirt, then a chunky sneaker or a boot the hem can stack over. Weekend wear mostly, though the plain finish takes it further than that.
