The two tone treatment splits the leg into blocks of contrasting shade, which is a bolder thing to do to a jean than any amount of distressing. The wash keeps both tones faded rather than saturated, so the contrast reads soft instead of graphic. The length runs long on purpose, gathering above the shoe into a natural stack rather than breaking cleanly. Fit is a regular skinny, close without being severe. Construction is a five pocket design, and the blend is 98% cotton with 2% spandex. Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with like colors, then line dry.
A leg this patterned wants everything else plain — a solid tee, a solid jacket, a sneaker with enough sole for the hem to sit on. Weekends and evenings, mostly.
