The distressed detail is backed with self fabric, so what you see through the openings is more denim rather than skin — repair as a finish, not just damage. Down the side seam the edge is left raw and unfinished, which gives the leg a line that catches the eye as it moves. The denim is a comfort stretch, 97% cotton with 3% spandex, and in a slim fit that stretch is what stops the cut from feeling restrictive through the thigh.
